What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inspector C - 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) position at Barnes Aerospace?
Core Responsibilities:
- Review work order documentation including Router and IMS for completion.
- Inspect part characteristics using basic hand gages as required.
- Make copies to support shipping documentation of material and processing certs along with evidence of special processing as required by customer.
- Part Mark product according to instructions.
- Create and update internal nonconformance records as needed.
- Maintain completed work order records according to traceability and evidence of inspection retention requirements.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ minimum quality and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Understanding of basic engineering print principals.
- Experience with basic hand gaging (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) preferred.
- Must be able to pass a required annual vision test.
- Organizational multi-tasking skills.
- Communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a challenging and schedule driven environment.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
Preferred- 2 year(s): Quality and/or manufacturing experience preferred.
Education
