What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator C 4th Shift position at Barnes Aerospace?
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform all operations necessary to operate machines to perform drill, punch, deburring and cutting operations on diversified, close tolerance work.
- Monitor parts dimensions using jigs, fixtures, gages, calipers, micrometers and height gages to assure conformity of parts.
- Complete paperwork required to document the quality of parts completed.
- Check paperwork to determine required assembly and any special options.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
- Use precision measuring tools to check parts for correct fit and dimensions.
Experience
Required- 3 year(s): •1 years of manufacturing experience •Able to use basic math to add, subtract, multiply, or divide and my work with fractions, decimals, or percentages. • Able to follow instructions and directions •Able to communicate verbally and in writing as to work requirements, work in progress or work completion.
