Barnes Dennig Client Service Support – Client Engagement Team Manager

The Client Service Support teams help power the firm’s success by providing high level administrative support, while ensuring administrative process efficiencies, high-quality client deliverables, effective communication and seamless coordination for client service professionals in the Assurance and Tax service lines.
The Client Engagement Team Manager plays a vital role with a unique variety of opportunities to add value to one of the region’s fastest-growing firms. You will work both independently and in a dynamic team environment on a wide variety of projects, processes, and platforms, while leading and guiding team members critical to the firm’s success.
As a Client Engagement Team Manager for the Assurance and Tax functions, you will:
  • Lead, organize, and guide client engagement team members in their day-to-day activities, while providing individual feedback and professional development to team members.
  • Oversee and assist with the day-to-day support of administrative responsibilities, while ensuring all client engagement team processes and deadlines are completed in a timely and efficient manner meeting set deadlines.
  • Monitor, review, and continuously improve internal client engagement team processes, procedures, and workflows to ensure optimal productivity and client service quality standards, while remaining compliant with industry regulations and deadlines.
  • Identify areas for improvement in efficiencies, while overseeing the implementation of best practices to include technology and tools for process development and enhance client engagement team productivity.
  • Interact with multiple internal and external organizational levels, take initiative, anticipate problems and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and independently, while fostering a collaborative, positive, and inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (business administration preferred) or equivalent experience required
  • Relevant work experience such as: 5 years of previous experience working in an administrative function; 3 years focused on managing administrative personnel in a CPA firm or professional services environment
  • Excellent technical skills required - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Proofreading and Internet; Experience with accounting software and tax processes preferred
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week and flexibility to work overtime, as needed during peak busy times throughout the year
  • Dependable and detail oriented (must be able to verify numerical and text accuracy)
  • Positive and professional demeanor with a collaborative attitude focused on team success
  • Proven skillset as it relates to: Leadership, customer service, verbal and written communication, organization, professionalism, etc.
  • Ability to: interact with all levels inside and outside the organization, take initiative, anticipate problems and formulate resolutions, exercise good judgment/decision making, prioritize and multi-task, work in a team environment and independently, etc.
