Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including manual transmission if required.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
• Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork or documentation.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability before each shift.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving manual transmission vehicles is an advantage.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely (certification may be required).
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Must be able to pass background checks as per company policy.
