Job Description
As a Campus Retail Associate at Barnes & Noble Education, you will provide superior customer service to our customers and support store leaders in all facets of retail operations. This includes processing sales transactions, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
- Provide a friendly atmosphere by greeting customers and focusing on their positive experience throughout their visit.
- Take initiative to support store operations, including setting up or restocking displays, wrapping, labeling, dating, and rotating food items for sale.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following cleaning, sanitation, and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for employment.
- Previous food handling experience is preferred.
- Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
