Summary
The Senior Legal Recruiting Specialist will source candidates, as well as manage and coordinate all aspects of partner and non-partner attorney candidate hiring across offices. Responsibilities will include but not limited to working closely with the Chief Legal Recruiting Officer, Office Managing Partners (OMPs), Department Chairs and Hiring Managers to identify sourcing needs and innovative solutions; reviewing candidate applications and resumes, coordinating interviews and candidate evaluations, updating applicant tracking database, responding to candidate inquiries and maintaining contact throughout the recruiting cycle, collecting and analyzing due diligence information.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Sources candidates, screens resumes, and forwards potential candidates to appropriate department chairs/hiring managers for review.
- Follows-up with interviewers/hiring managers, candidates, and recruiters with appropriate updates, and outstanding matters.
- Assists with special recruitment projects as needed, e.g. reservations for group dinners, travel needs, etc.
- Manages and organizes candidate files with all necessary documentation.
- Participates in meetings as requested to take notes, follow-up, etc.
- Coordinate with The Director of Legal Recruiting Operations on employment and background searches.
- Facilitate and complete reference gathering process.
- Produces and circulates recruiting reports and updates.
- Applicant tracking of all sourced and review lateral candidates.
- Reviews and analyzes predictive metrics and analytics for process improvement and efficiency indicators.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required
- Bachelor’s degree conjunctively with a minimum of three to five years of legal recruiting experience.
- Demonstrated solid project management skills, superior attention to detail and the ability to proofread reports and materials for grammatical, typographical and spelling errors.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate and follow the instructions effectively from a diverse group of attorneys and staff and provide information with accuracy, professionalism, courtesy and tact.
- Demonstrated ability to represent the firm in a professional manner at all times.
- Superior ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.
- Work occasionally requires more than 40 hours per week to perform duties of the position.
- Normal law office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.
