The UX Designer will focus on usability, accessibility, and staying current with industry trends to provide optimal user experiences.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Conducts user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
- Evaluates custom code and existing applications to identify areas for improvement.
- Creates wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to communicate design ideas.
- Collaborates with development teams to implement design solutions.
- Conducts usability testing and gathers feedback to refine designs.
- Ensures applications are accessible and meet usability standards.
- Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in UX design.
- Provides documentation and guidelines for design standards.
- Participates in the planning and implementation of new features and applications.
- Builds and maintains positive working relationships with team members and internal customers.
- Provides end-user training and support as needed.
- Prepares written materials to document design processes and standards.
- Trains other team members on UX best practices and methodologies.
- Participates in efforts to develop and implement processes for continuous improvement in user experience.
- Responsible for problem management activities such as issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field or 4 years of related work experience.
- Proven experience as a User Experience Analyst or similar role.
- Experience with user research and usability testing.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms preferred
- Familiarity with Responsive Design, HTML, and JavaScript a plus
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Ability to conduct A/B testing and analyze results for design decisions.
- Strong understanding of UX principles and best practices.
- Ability to effectively interface with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to present design ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.
- Basic knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as they relate to technology issues and data privacy laws and practices.

- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
