Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Project Designer to join our dynamic team. The Project Designer will collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to bring visions to life through thoughtful planning and execution.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive design concepts for various projects including residential and commercial spaces.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhinoceros 3D.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and budget constraints.
- Utilize color theory and interior design principles to enhance aesthetic appeal and functionality.
- Prepare project budgets and manage resources effectively to ensure timely completion within financial limits.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions, gather measurements, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into final designs.
- Coordinate with contractors and construction teams during the build or remodeling phases to ensure adherence to designs.
Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for graphic presentations and visual communication.
- Strong knowledge of color theory as it applies to interior design.
- Experience with budgeting for projects from inception through completion.
- Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Previous experience in remodeling or construction is a plus.
