Barnett Engineering & Signaling Laboratories LLC (BESL) is seeking a qualified Front End or Full Stack Web Developer with duties in Colorado Springs, CO. The developer will lead a small of developers in achieving goals and meeting contract requirements. The developer will design and build comprehensive User Interfaces for a variety of diverse, key DoD applications. The developer will interact with leadership, customers and participate in the development of applications and deployment. This position requires working with a variety of diverse teams. Qualified candidates exhibit flexibility with their technological stack and must be able to switch between different deployment environments.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Perform software development and integration via industry best practices, including Agile methodologies for the government system.
• Provide support to mission application and framework software development.
• Participates in a development team that uses modern DevOps software practices and a technology-supported development infrastructure.
• Help maintain and develop new capabilities to the deployed system, diagnose and resolve issues, and provide support to end-users as needed.
• The ideal candidate will have the technical talent and desire to continuously learn new skills and technologies.

Position Qualifications:

• Must be experienced in Java, Jest, Javascript, Angular, Python
• Working knowledge of networks and application deployment
• Firm understanding of Spring Boot, SQL, and Postgres
• Development experience with Microservices, Kafka (or any other Java based message broker) and Kubernetes
• Experience with Docker containers
• Bachelors in field from an accredited institution or, a combination of technical education and experience in software development, or, a Preferred Master's with related work experience.
• Must be able to achieve and maintain a U.S. Passport.
• Signals Experience/understanding of Radio Frequency and signal flow.
• Agile environment experience (JIRA).
• DevSecOps development practices utilizing Agile Frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of Back and Front-end architecture
• Experience in troubleshooting and debugging
• Experience working on a team of developers
• Military or Military environment experience
• Familiarity with Node.js, Linux/Bash, React, NgRx, Bootstrap, Flex Box

Other (optional notes): Work will be performed on site.

BESL complies with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The salary range for this particular effort in Colorado is approximately $65,000 - $85,000.
