We’re on the lookout for a skilled Equipment Mechanic to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you’ll harness your expertise to diagnose and repair a wide range of medium and heavy-duty equipment. If you thrive in a hands-on environment and enjoy tackling mechanical challenges, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in machinery and equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on forklifts, tractors, and trailers.
- Execute routine inspections and safety checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Collaborate with customers to address their equipment needs and provide solutions.
- Submit repair bids and assist in preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the Equipment Service Manager.
- Participate in training new team members and share your knowledge with others.
- A solid understanding of schematics and mechanical systems.
- Experience with computer-assisted troubleshooting and basic computer skills.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in construction rental or equipment maintenance.
- Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate various equipment safely.
- A valid and current driver’s license.
