We’re Hiring an Inventory Control Specialist!
Purpose of the Role:
As our new Inventory Control Specialist, you will be at the heart of maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting all areas of inventory management. From managing daily operations to coordinating large-scale physical inventories, your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help us stay on track and run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Accuracy: Ensure all inventory records are up-to-date, and report any discrepancies to the Branch Manager.
- Coordinate Inventories: Facilitate and coordinate periodic physical inventories, and ensure seamless execution of year-end inventory counts.
- Inventory Adjustments: Post inventory adjustments and assist with daily inventory production.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Billing, AP, Sales, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Reporting: Compile and issue inventory reports to management to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Stock Transfers: Work with yard leads to maintain accurate records for stock transfers between warehouses.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong math and analytical skills with the ability to reconcile stock counts to computer records
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, as required
- Associate’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of inventory control experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
