What You'll Do:
As the Yard Supervisor, you’ll be the backbone of our daily yard operations, ensuring the safe and accurate handling of materials, overseeing equipment, and leading a team to success. Your role will involve:
- Overseeing the daily flow of inbound and outbound rebar/materials, ensuring proper storage and accurate deliveries.
- Enforcing safety compliance by adhering to OSHA standards, managing equipment, and conducting yard inspections.
- Coordinating with Inventory and Sales teams to ensure the correct materials are picked and delivered efficiently.
- Managing daily yard staff, assigning tasks, and overseeing timecards and PTO.
- Training and developing employees on material handling, equipment use, and safety protocols.
- Maintaining an organized and secure yard, minimizing hazards and ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment.
You are a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You have strong organizational skills and experience in managing operations and teams. You also possess:
- A strong understanding of inventory software and basic math skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
