0.5 FTE; 1 : 1 Assignment
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Current license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Massachusetts
- Current CPR / AED certification
- 1-3 years of experience in pediatrics, community health or other relevant clinical setting
- Experience with electronic health records and charting
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Experience with children with special health care needs including, but not limited to tracheostomies, G-tubes, diabetes, seizures, allergies, asthma, preferred
- Bi- or multi-lingual (Portuguese, Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply
REPORTS TO :
Director of Health Services and Building Principal or designee
Works under the supervision of the school nurse who reports to the Director of Health Services and building principal
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES :
The LPN will support the functions of the school health office(s) and will assist school nurse(s) in :
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : School year
SALARY : Per BTA Contract - Paraprofessionals Unit
