Job Summary:
Barnwell County is seeking a highly motivated Airport Manager. The Airport Manager will oversee daily airport operations, ensuring efficient and safe airport functions while providing excellent customer service. This role requires management of airport staff, coordinating with regulatory authorities, and implementing operational policies. The successful candidate will work closely with government and airline representatives, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee airport operations and safety protocols.
- Manage airport personnel and coordinate with airline and airport service providers.
- Implement airport policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Develop and maintain operational budgets and schedules.
- Respond to emergencies and manage incident reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in airport management, business administration, or related field or a high school diploma with 2 years equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skill and abilities.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in airport operations or management.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation industry standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
