What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convenience Site Attendant position at Barnwell County Government?
Barnwell County is now accepting applications for a Convenience Site Attendant for the County Recycling Centers. Working hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Under general supervision, attendants will be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to the general public as needed; maintaining the sites; maintaining accurate records; opening and closing the sites; inspecting equipment and performing preventive maintenance duties; operating various equipment and machinery; assuring that all recycle material is put into proper containers, etc. Attendants will report directly to the Solid Waste Manager. Applicants must have good communication skills and must posses a valid S.C. Driver’s License.
