What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Foreman position at Barnwell County Government?
Under regular supervision of the County Public Works Director, the Road Foreman oversees the activities of Public Works vehicle and equipment operators to ensure the safe and proper performance of County road construction and maintenance projects. Maintains equipment in good working condition according to department and safety standards.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent
- Three to five years of experience in heavy equipment operation and/or construction
- CDL driver’s license with appropriate endorsements.
This position reports to the Public Works Director.
