Barnyard Kids Learning Center is growing and looking for qualified team members to help achieve accreditation through the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation body. Placement is contingent upon professional experience and knowledge base regarding the ages and stages of development.

Barnyard Kids Learning Center is offering an excellent chance to join our vibrant and dynamic team of ECE professionals at our school located in Hawkins, TX. Recent early childhood graduates are encouraged to apply for teaching positions and we welcome enthusiastic newcomers looking for entry to the ECE field to apply for our aide positions.

No single methodology is sufficient for meeting the needs of children. Therefore, our program offers a variety of Montessori principled techniques and modern approaches in the classroom.

Full Time qualified applicants must have a high school diploma (homeschool or public school), become certified in CPR & First Aid, have formal training in an ECE related field, and pass a required background check. A Child Development Associate (CDA) or BS/BA in related field preferred. Applicants must be able to complete a background check and CPR/1st Aid.

General Responsibilities:

Confidentiality of family information is needed for a trusting trio-Parent/Teacher/Student relationship

Conduct Opening Procedures and aide the Center Director with morning activities that produce a smooth drop-off period for families and teachers.

Prepare integrated monthly lesson plans and student portfolios that cover essential developmental milestones

Document Child Development, Progress

Participate in Parent/Teacher Conferences

Classroom Management

Join in family-style mealtimes

Maintain accurate attendance records

Guide and promote good hygiene practices, toileting efforts, and change diapers

Collaborate with Team Members to achieve individual, group, and organizational goals

Excellent attendance record is required

Schedule:

Full-time Teachers are scheduled Monday-Friday;

Hours are based on the needs of the families and may change based on enrollment.

Full-time Aides are scheduled Monday-Friday

Part-Time Aides are scheduled consistently, but hours and days will vary.

Experience:

Teaching: 2 year

Childcare: 2 year

Childcare: < 1 year on a case-by-case basis

Initial compensation rate based on applicable experience and training. Training is provided.
