We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate forklifts as needed for materials handling within the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers.
- Familiarity with hand tools and their applications in machining processes.
- Experience with programming CNC machines and understanding logic controllers is preferred.
- Strong skills in materials handling and assembly line operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience operating CNC lathes or similar machinery is highly desirable.
