A well established and successful Independent Financial Planning firm is seeking a motivated individual to help work with Senior Wealth Advisors and assist in managing client relationships.
The individual should be a Certified Financial Planner or working towards being a Certified Financial Planner. Certified Public Accountants would be considered as well.
This individual should have a great attitude, initiative, integrity, relationship skills, and be passionate about serving clients and being part of a team.
The responsibilities of the position include:
- Develop a full understanding of the team's practices, procedures and philosophy.
- Work with other advisors to manage and maintain existing and new client relationships.
- Meeting preparation; including financial reporting, financial plans.
- Assist in maintaining an ongoing client relationship by being part of periodic reviews.
- Conduct research on client issues such as tax questions, investment solutions, and estate planning.
Qualifications:
- Have an understanding and be conversant in the financial planning process.
- Knowledge in financial planning; including but not limited to goals-based planning, asset allocation, and retirement planning.
- Knowledge of the securities industry; including investment and insurance products and services.
- Ability to effectively present investment strategies to clients and maintain a holistic approach to planning.
- Superior interpersonal skills and be able to effectively communicate with advisors and clients.
- Ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities when necessary to manage deadlines.
- Open and receptive to feedback and coaching.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Helpful Education and Experience
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP*®) designation* or in training.
- FINRA Series 7 license
- FINRA Series 66 (or 63/65) license
- Life/Health Insurance license
- 3 years of previous wealth management experience
- Understanding of the financial planning industry
- Excellent computer knowledge
