Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Planner/Scheduler to join our team. Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and inventory levels.
- Ensure schedules align with lead times, resource availability, and delivery commitments.
Coordination Across Departments
- Collaborate with production, procurement, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
- Communicate schedule updates and changes effectively to all stakeholders.
Resource Optimization
- Monitor and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Identify and address potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
Inventory Management
- Ensure the availability of raw materials and components through proactive coordination with procurement.
- Maintain an appropriate balance of inventory to meet production demands while minimizing costs.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Drive initiatives to improve scheduling processes, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity.
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
- Generate detailed reports on production performance, resource utilization, and scheduling accuracy.
Qualifications & Skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
