Production Planner/Scheduler

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Planner/Scheduler to join our team. This critical role ensures seamless production operations, enabling us to meet and exceed customer expectations while optimizing resource utilization. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strategic thinking, exceptional organizational skills, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning

• Develop, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, capacity, and inventory levels.
• Ensure schedules align with lead times, resource availability, and delivery commitments.

Coordination Across Departments

• Collaborate with production, procurement, quality control, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.
• Communicate schedule updates and changes effectively to all stakeholders.

Resource Optimization

• Monitor and allocate resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Identify and address potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Inventory Management

• Ensure the availability of raw materials and components through proactive coordination with procurement.
• Maintain an appropriate balance of inventory to meet production demands while minimizing costs.

Continuous Improvement

• Analyze production data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive initiatives to improve scheduling processes, reduce downtime, and enhance productivity.

Compliance and Reporting

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
• Generate detailed reports on production performance, resource utilization, and scheduling accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
