Job Overview
The Barona Resort and Casino is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join its team. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including preventive maintenance on refrigeration and mechanical systems, diagnosing and repairing problems, and installing new equipment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to fellow staff and players
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair refrigeration and mechanical issues, and install new equipment as needed
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and correct problems efficiently
- Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Train and mentor department apprentices to develop their skills in the trade
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; completed apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred
- At least 6 years of experience in HVAC industry
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and follow directions
- Knowledgeable in Uniform Building and Mechanical Codes, E.P.A. certified to operate gas recovery systems, and proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical manuals
