Mechanic, HVAC

Job Description

The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including preventive maintenance on refrigeration and mechanical systems, diagnosing and repairing problems, and installing new equipment.

• Provide exceptional customer service to fellow staff and players
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, diagnose and repair refrigeration and mechanical issues, and install new equipment as needed
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and correct problems efficiently
• Clean and maintain equipment, tools, and work sites to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Train and mentor department apprentices to develop their skills in the trade

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completed apprenticeship and/or formal training in HVAC preferred
• At least 6 years of experience in HVAC industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and follow directions
• Knowledgeable in Uniform Building and Mechanical Codes, E.P.A. certified to operate gas recovery systems, and proficient in interpreting blueprints and technical manuals
