Bar Products is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a hard-working individual to fill a Powder Coat Painter position in our manufacturing area. Looking for a great team member to join our business and also help out in other areas as needed. You must be able to pass drug screening, undergo a pre-employment background check, and be able to withstand working in a constantly busy environment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Set up and operate powder coat equipment
- Load parts onto powder coat racks.
- Perform pre-treatment, including testing and maintenance of chemicals.
- Powder coat surfaces, parts, and products per work instructions and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Check inventory and consult supervisor when parts or powder needs ordered.
- Maintain clean and organized work area and equipment
- Demonstrates strong work ethic, helps others, and makes solid decisions.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 55 lbs. Unassisted.
- Ability to use a hoist
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to read and execute instructions as found on work orders
- Ability to perform basic math.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
- Team oriented
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 8hr shift, 6-2:30
- Must have reliable transportation
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
