Cashier and Customer Service

Barr Display is seeking a team member who wants to join as a Customer Service and Sales Representative. This position will report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager and will be an integral part of the Barr Display team.

This isn't one of those sales positions with requirements to hit monthly goals or impossible quotas, this is more retail sales with some problem solving mixed in. Enjoy your nights and weekends off, with paid holidays and earned vacation time.

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task, adaptable, and proactive. Every day is different, and the hours fly by when you enjoy working with good team members.

Founded in 1946, Barr Display is a national supplier of store fixtures and retail displays. Barr Display currently has headquarters in Orlando FL, with other locations throughout the country.

This position is ideal for a college student, as we can work around your class schedules. We are willing to work around schedules to provide business experience and build resumes. Also ideal for a candidate with a family, as no nights or weekends required, and hours are steady.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Customer Service, order taking via phone or showroom sales

· Consultative Selling

· Basic data entry and/or word processing skills

· Process payments, handle cash

Miscellaneous: Store Open 8:30-5:00 Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends! Paid Holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
