Job Description : Summary :
The Processing Librarian is a collaborative member of the Records and Library Services team. This team provides support to approximately 1,200 internal clients in the United States and Canada. The person in this role works primarily with processing records under the business function of records management. There is potential to expand the role in the future.

Responsibilities include :
- Focuses primarily on processing project and corporate records with the occasional processing of library materials.
- Providing records management services.
- Collaboratively implementing the growth of the records management program.
- Conveying directions to staff to access materials.
- Cataloging.
- Coordinating physical and digital retrieval of client records requests.
- Collaboratively developing and implementing conventions for processing and metadata entry.
- Analyzing, classifying, and entering metadata of project records and supporting documents.
- Supporting and assisting process improvements as they relate to records management.
- Supporting, assisting, and educating clients on records management practices and library services.
- Assisting with corporate legal matters as they relate to records management.
- Collaborating with other librarians on copyright review analysis and catalog updates.
- Conducting catalog maintenance.
- Contributing to ongoing improvement efforts in a team setting.

A hybrid work arrangement may be considered for this position. A hybrid work arrangement refers to splitting time worked between a Barr office and a home office. This position is based out of Barr's Minneapolis, Minnesota, office.
Compensation :
The anticipated base hourly range for this position is $25 - $29 / hour. This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Compensation will vary based upon relevant experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary cash bonus based on team and individual performance. Barr has a “no retained earnings” model and distributes all its profit to our employees through our bonus plan and ESOP.
