Barr-Reeve Community Schools is seeking two passionate and energetic Elementary Teachers to join our dedicated team for the upcoming school year. Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that promote active learning and are aligned with Indiana academic standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports all learners.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse student abilities and learning styles.
- Assess and document student learning; provide timely feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and participate in school meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behavior while fostering a safe and respectful classroom community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
- Valid Indiana State Teaching License in Elementary Education or eligibility to obtain one.
- While previous teaching experience is appreciated, new teachers and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. We are committed to supporting early-career educators.
