Barr-Reeve Community Schools is seeking dedicated and reliable substitute teachers to support our classrooms when regular teachers are unavailable. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Instruction: Follow and execute lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, respectful, and focused learning environment.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to adjust teaching strategies to meet the needs of students and classroom dynamics.
- Supervision: Supervise students during class and other school activities, ensuring their safety and engagement.
- Communication: Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding the day’s activities and any issues encountered.
- Follow School Procedures: Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including attendance, discipline, and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree or teaching certification preferred.
- Experience: Prior teaching experience or experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
