We are currently looking to fill a Production Manager position with a manufacturing company located in Claremore, OK.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee all aspects of plant operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality standards, controlling costs, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires a hands-on leader who actively embodies the company's core values and drives continuous improvement across the production team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Actively promote and uphold the company's core values in all decisions and interactions.
- Ensure production, shipping, cost, quality, and safety goals are consistently met.
- Review production schedules, determine workforce needs, and monitor operations to meet customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive or corrective actions as needed.
- Recommend and execute changes to enhance quality and reduce costs.
- Manage inventory control and work-in-process activities.
- Plan and schedule production work to optimize efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Direct and support exempt and non-exempt production control staff.
- Make decisions related to hiring, termination, discipline, and performance management.
- Investigate product quality concerns and implement changes or improvements.
- Provide regular and punctual attendance.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
