We are currently looking to fill a Quality Assurance Manager position with a Tulsa area manufacturing facility.

Our client, a Tulsa-based manufacturing facility, is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead and grow their quality department. This role offers a blend of hands-on shop floor engagement and office-based strategy, perfect for someone eager to create meaningful change and shape the department for years to come.
Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (or as production demands)
Pay: Dependent on experience
What You'll Do:
- Program & Policy Implementation: Design and implement quality control programs, policies, and procedures to establish a robust quality management system.
- ISO Standards & Systems: Lead the transition toward ISO certification by developing processes and creating quality manuals.
- Leadership & Accountability: Supervise and mentor a team of inspectors, ensuring adherence to procedures and conducting spot checks to maintain standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to enhance quality processes, support operational efficiency, and drive departmental growth.
- Hands-On Engagement: Split time between the shop floor and the office, working directly with the inspection team and production staff.
- Problem Solving: Address quality concerns proactively, ensuring that any issues are resolved efficiently to maintain client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For:
- Quality Expertise: Proven experience in quality control or quality management within a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with ISO standards is essential.
- Process Development: Hands-on experience creating and implementing systems, processes, and quality manuals.
- Leadership Experience: Previous supervisory or lead roles where you held teams accountable and fostered a culture of quality excellence.
- Attention to Detail: Strong proficiency with precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures.
- Accountability & Drive: A proactive approach to upholding quality standards and growing the department with a long-term vision (10-20 years).
