BarrMax is in search of a Production Technician!

BarrMax Facility Overview

Barrday has been manufacturing advanced technical fabrics for ballistic armor products in Charlotte since 2001.  We are now opening a second facility at a new site in Charlotte to manufacture BarrMax.

BarrMax (formerly Endumax) is a polyethylene tape product with incredible tenacity and stiffness properties, which makes it a natural addition to our product line. Its unique physical and chemical structure makes it – weight for weight – 11 times stronger than steel!

The BarrMax production equipment has been relocated from Europe to our new facility in the Innovation Business Park.  This state-of-the-art German manufacturing equipment is in the process of being reassembled and start-up trials will begin this summer with full production expected by the end of the year.

We are looking for exceptional individuals to join us on the ground floor of this new endeavor. You will be part of creating a culture of respect and manufacturing excellence and as production increases, you will be teaching our new employees and could become a future leader in this facility.

The work environment is outstanding: clean, bright, quiet, free of fumes and dust, and air conditioned. The business park has ample parking, two employee fitness centers, regular food trucks, a coffee shop, a convenience store and many more amenities.

In the beginning, the work week will be a Monday to Friday day shift schedule, however, as production increases, it will become a rotating shift schedule to provide 24-hour coverage.
