What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities - Custodian 2nd Shift position at Barre City Elementary & Middle School?
Barre City Elementary and Middle School is seeking a 2nd shift custodian. Second shift is 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm during the school year and 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (first shift) during summer.
Candidates must:
- Be able to perform physical labor/activities, lifting, unassisted, bending, standing, climbing and walking.
- Work effectively and respectfully with public.
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions.
- Maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.
- Pass a background and fingerprint check.
Background in commercial cleaning preferred.
The rate of pay for this position is $20.24 per hour, plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential when working the second shift. Benefits include health and dental insurance, retirement, paid sick, vacation and personal leave.
