The Barre Unified Union School District is seeking an Intensive Needs/Lifeskills Special Education Teacher to join our Spaulding High School Special Education Team for the 2024-25 school year. This special educator will case manage and provide direct instruction to students with intensive needs and supervise their supporting para educators. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: developing and implementing specialized instruction and community based learning experiences, completing evaluations, preparing IEPs, transition plans and behavior plans, scheduling and facilitating parent meetings, coordinating services with outside agencies and other providers, and preparing and completing alternate assessments as needed.For more information about our district, please visit BUUSD.org
