INSTRUCTOR JOB DESCRIPTION
The barre3 Instructor is an integral part of the barre3 studio experience and responsible for leading and delivering a remarkable barre3 class and client experience. B3 North Shore instructors have a passion for fitness and embrace whole-body health, community, and connection. Instructors should be comfortable speaking to clients about our events and retail, as well as studio membership and class packages.
HOURS and AVAILABILITY:
Instructors are expected to teach an average of four classes a week in addition to at least one Saturday or Sunday a month. Instructors are expected to be reliable and have a consistent schedule. We understand that life happens and we work hard to accommodate schedule conflicts, holidays, and vacations. We just ask for as much notice as possible and that instructors take the lead on finding a sub when they will need one.

Prospective instructors should have a familiarity with barre3, exhibit confident body energy, strong musicality, and be comfortable speaking in front of people. Everyone on our staff is expected to be a proactive communicator and a team player, helping whenever they can. We expect our staff to help foster a positive, kind, warm, and diverse workplace.
All staff must be CPR/AED certified. Please note that the studio will provide CPR training for all staff who need it.
REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS:
Prospective instructors must pass the barre3 Audition process - virtual and in-person audition - and meet the requirements for New Instructor Training. Prospective instructors must also be available to meet with the studio’s instructor mentor weekly during their New Instructor Training. This training period is unpaid. There may be costs associated with training.
