Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately.
• Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, products, and services to effectively sell to customers.
• Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist with pricing, discounts, and inventory calculations.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in cash register operations and handling financial transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills for performing retail calculations and managing cash flow.
• Experience in retail sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment while also working independently when required.
• Knowledge of product demonstrations to engage customers and enhance their shopping experience.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
