Bartender

As a Bartender at Cloud Nine Restaurant Group, you will play a pivotal role in executing our Beverage Program as directed by the Director of Operations. Your primary focus will be to deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining the highest standards of beverage preparation and inventory management.

• Guest Service Excellence:

• Cost Control Management:
• Conduct accurate weekly Beverage Inventory (Sunday PM).
• Verify that vendor deliveries match Purchase Orders in terms of quantity and price.
• Record and manage waste accurately using the Weekly Waste Log.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of all inventory items.
• Operational Efficiency:
• Maintain cocktail batching to established par levels.
• Consistently meet drink standards, including timing, garnishes, and quality.
• Ensure adequate stocking of all beverage products (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) prior to service.
• Complete daily and weekly bar cleaning and maintenance as outlined in the Bar Bible.
• Effective Reporting:
• Communicate relevant information, such as guest feedback and inventory adjustments, with the Beverage Director daily.
• Document important details related to the beverage program, service, and POS in the Bar Bible’s daily notes section for the weekly meeting with the Beverage Director.
• Inform the Beverage Director, GM, or FOH MOD of any critical updates or issues impacting the Beverage Program.
• Compliance and Maintenance:
• Adhere to all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations regarding health, safety, and labor requirements.
• Accurately report all tips at the end of each shift through the check out process.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal ordinances, including alcohol regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and excellent working condition of all equipment through regular personal inspection and adherence to preventative maintenance programs.

• Legal Compliance: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months to one year of restaurant serving experience preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Basset and ServSafe Certification required.
