The Youth Sports Camp is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team in providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children. Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children during various sports and recreational activities.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote skill development and teamwork.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants by maintaining a positive camp environment.
- Provide guidance and support in behavior management, addressing any conflicts or challenges that arise.
- Assist in organizing camp events, games, and tournaments to enhance the overall camp experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other staff members regarding participant progress and any concerns.
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation from all campers.
Skills
- Experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments is preferred.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain a productive learning environment.
- Background in special education or Christian counseling is a plus.
- Ability to educate and tutor students on various sports techniques and strategies.
- Effective behavior management skills to handle diverse situations with patience and understanding.
- A passion for youth development through sports and recreational activities.

Hours: Shifts throughout Monday-Friday 7:30 am-5:30 pm
Seasonal Position: End of May-August (When children are on summer vacation)
CPR/First Aid AED Certification: Will train in-house.
