Responsibilities
- Recruiting and Retention - Responsible for recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring, retaining and developing all store level employees and ensuring each store has high-performing teams.
- Cost Controls - Oversee all parts and core returns, as well as credits for stores. Ensure appropriate parts procurement and markup strategies are in place to meet daily gross profit (GP) targets.
- Quality Control - Monitor comebacks to ensure corrective actions are taken to uphold the highest standards of customer service. Document learning from comebacks to prevent repeat issues.
- Vendor Management - Negotiate and manage vendor relationships to support productive partnerships at the store level.
- Equipment - Ensure stores are properly equipped and well-maintained to optimize performance.
- Store Inspections - Conduct and review store inspections to maintain uniformity and ensure stores are visually appealing and comfortable for customers.
- Team Development - Spend 70% of business hours in repair centers, focusing on training, auditing, and coaching team members.
- Leadership and Mentorship - Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and excellence-driven culture.
- Repair Order (RO) Audits - Perform weekly repair order audits to verify proper ticket writing and ensure comprehensive inspections and diagnostics.
- Manager Reviews - Conduct monthly review with each Store Manager to evaluate performance across financial, operational, vendor management and technician assessment areas.
- Communication - Maintain effective communication with the Executive Management Team and Central Services personnel.
- An active and unrestricted driver's license is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree in business management or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the automotive industry.
- Proven history of managing multi-location operations in the automotive repair or related industry with operational excellence.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair processes, technologies, and industry standards preferred.
