The Position
The Business Operations Analyst II, reporting to the Manager, Data and Analytics, is responsible for working closely with facility management teams as a valued strategic business partner that provides data, analysis, and modeling to support decision making. Key areas of focus include labor planning, demand forecasting, support of strategic initiatives, LEAN support, inventory analysis, and financial analysis.
The compensation range for this position is $60K-$70K, depending on experience.
This shift works 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of either Memphis, TN or Somerset, NJ.

The Position
The Business Operations Analyst II, reporting to the Manager, Data and Analytics, is responsible for working closely with facility management teams as a valued strategic business partner that provides data, analysis, and modeling to support decision making. Key areas of focus include labor planning, demand forecasting, support of strategic initiatives, LEAN support, inventory analysis, and financial analysis.

Your Day-to-Day
- Act as strategic business partner for regional decision makers by providing insights and data about their operations
- Review monthly P&L (Customer and Facility) data to identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce cost, or make improvements to the customer experience.
- Model customer demands utilizing customer forecasts and leverage generated data to create labor plans with facility leadership
- Support quarterly business review process by developing models and tools to support a rolling annual forecast.
- Participate in facility led LEAN initiatives and mini-games focused on cost savings by providing data, reporting, and financial analysis
- Conduct cost analysis that help management understand how decisions being made will impact productivity and other key metrics.
- Support FP&A team with P&L review, QBR process, and other ad-hoc analysis
- Support Pricing team and solution design team to price new business, conduct rate reviews on existing business, and monitor performance of newly onboarded customers.
- Partner with regional Industrial Engineering resources to support continuous improvement initiatives with data & insight.
- Collect and analyze financial information in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
- Report current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
- Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree related to information systems, analytics, business administration, computer science, statistics, or similar field. May consider 8 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
- 3 years’ related work experience
- LEAN certifications preferred
- Experience with visualization/reporting tools (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI) preferred
- Experience with utilizing SQL for adhoc analysis a plus
- Proficient with all Microsoft applications, especially Excel
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance assigned projects, daily tasks, and ad-hoc analytics requests.
- Applies a constructive, positive attitude.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Must demonstrate high level of interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work well under pressure and problem solve across a variety of business processes.
- Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines. Strong emphasis on organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently.
