We are currently seeking a Driver for our Jamesville NY location . This position will involve driving only within the constraints of the Asphalt Plant (CDL License not required but a plus), it does not involve any over the road driving.
Compensation
22.50 - $23.50
Main Responsibilities
- Operate truck equipped with a dump body to transport and dump loose material such as sand, gravel, crushed rock and bituminous paving materials
- Conduct pre-trip inspection checklist on equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil and water.
- Handle paperwork concerning load tickets.
- Carry out detailed instructions, but also must be able to use good judgement in decision making and be able to work without direct supervision.
- Must be able to oil, grease and fuel truck.
- Operate the vehicle safely in traffic situations and follow the policies and procedures of the company.
- Must comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.
- Overtime as required.
