This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in safety protocols, regulatory compliance, and risk management.

Main Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Safety Specialist to understand our safety program and the importance of Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) & Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.
- Complete mutually beneficial projects
- Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity
- Learning how to work as part of the region team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license.
- Some travel required
- Enrolled in a relevant safety management, occupational health and safety, or related Bachelor’s degree program
