Job Summary

Salary - $61,100 - $70,000 Plus a Competitive Benefit Package!

The Staff Accountant will prepare journal entries, financial reports, analyze actual financial data, use various bookkeeping systems, and support the Regional Controller. Barrett NYN Watertown features a culture that supports growth and career development.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide support for the Regional Controller in all financial matters involving the business.
  • Perform vital research, filing, data entry, while recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
  • Handle confidential information on a routine basis with honesty and integrity

Skills And Education

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting.
  • Shown academic success in Accounting with prior business experience strongly preferred. Strong math skills, proficiency with computers, particularly with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility
  • Motivation and strong desire to take on new challenges and learn as much as possible The ability to work well with people in team settings
