Barrett Hospital & HealthCare invite applications for our Hospital Educator position. The Hospital Educator provides support for the identification, development, and delivery of hospital-wide educational programs/initiatives. Primary focus is the planning, development, facilitation, implementation, evaluation, and administration of a wide variety of educational programs and initiatives to increase and enhance a culture of learning. Related responsibilities are developing and implementing organizational and employee development strategies and interventions, which may include developing curricula, writing lesson plans, developing a broad range of programs to meet the needs of a diverse learning population, managing training development programs, contracting services, facilitating learning opportunities internally and externally, and developing budgets. Requires collegial relationship skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. BLS Instructor preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of hire. Education program experience is preferred. Adult learning theory knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of EPIC EHR preferred. The ability to navigate Word programs and basic IT projection equipment is necessary.
