What are the responsibilities and job description for the SR PATIENT ACCOUNT REP - TRAINER position at Barrett Memorial Hospital?
The Sr Patient Account Representative is responsible for the orientation and training of new patient access team members and the ongoing training for department employees in relation to customer service, department systems and process, and compliance requirements. Develops and updates education and training tools in conjunction with the PFS-Registration Manager. This position is responsible for timely and accurate patient registration processes, prior authorization procedures, patient estimate processes, and customer service standards. Provides a full range of registration, prior authorization, and supportive services. Motivates team members and helps assess performance. Develops, coordinates, and executes training plans/tools/functions. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members. Attends meetings when the manager is unavailable.
