Purpose: The purpose of the Production Laborer position is to coat finished kibble with palletants, run the product through the cooler and tote the product for packaging.Attributes
- Willing and able to lift 55lbs
- Stand for long periods of time
- Pallet organization while moving finished totes
- Computer competency
- Forklift experience required
- Able to obtain Fork/Truck license
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
Responsibilities
- Add palletant (dry & liquid) to finished product
- Add color dies to product
- Move finished totes to warehouse and packaging departments using a forklift
- Record and print off labels
- Setup and calibrate pumps for each run
- Use Forklift to get supplies (pallatent, totes, pallets, etc)
- Follow GMP’s and safety protocols
- Operate a floor scrubber
- Sweep, mop and sanitize throughout the facility
- Clean totes
Hours:
1st Shift: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday
2nd Shift 2pm - 10:30pm Monday - Friday
Compensation: $19 per hour for first shift (there is a $1.50 per hour differential for 2nd shift)
