The Weekend Production Laborer position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all parts of the Cooling room to prepare it for production on Monday. This role also involves assisting with production runs on Saturday mornings and helping to coat finished kibble with palletants, run the product through the cooler, and tote the product for packaging.
Responsibilities
- Add palletant (dry & liquid) to finished product
- Add color dies to product
- Move finished totes to warehouse and packaging departments using a forklift
- Record and print off labels
- Setup and calibrate pumps for each run
- Use Forklift to get supplies (pallatent, totes, pallets, etc)
- Follow GMP's and safety protocols
- Operate a floor scrubber
- Clean and sanitize equipment in between and at the end of runs
- Sweep, mop and sanitize throughout the facility
- Clean totes
Requirements
- Willing and able to lift 55lbs
- Stand and walk for long periods of time
- Pallet organization while moving finished totes
- Computer competency
- Forklift experience required
- Able to obtain Fork/Truck license
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
- Basic Math Skills required
- Team Player
