Purpose:  Meat Room Operator
This role is responsible for operating machinery designed for grinding meat for use in kibble production and configuring the amount of meat, fish and other ingredients that need to be processed per batch.

​​​Responsibilities: 

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the meat room 

• Train staff on proper meat room workflow and sanitation procedures 

• Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory on a daily basis to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted 

• Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into meat grinder 

• Add oils as needed per customer specifications 

• Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using forklift 

• Clean meat room equipment at throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards 

• Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner 

Job Requirements: 

• Willing and able to lift up to 60lbs 
• Be willing to work with a team 
• Stand for long periods of time 
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach
• Forklift experience Required
• Basic math skills required 
• Computer Skills required 

Hours:
1st Shift: 5am - 1:30pm
2nd Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm
3rd Shift: 9pm - 5:30am

Compensation: $20 1st Shift, additional $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shifts.
