The Purpose of the Extruder Operator position is to run the Extrusion equipment used in the manufacturing process of cooking and forming ingredients into formed kibble.

- Day-to-day operation of the plant
- Work with the Meat Room and Mill to ensure product meetsspecifications
- Bring in and unload flour trailers
- Setup, Operation of, and cleaning of the extruder used for petfood production
- Inspection of product to make sure it is meeting customer specifications, density, andsize
- Operation of dryer and testing of kibble
- Operations of the VerticalCooler, mixing and adding palletants to kibble
- troubleshootequipment to ensure product is withinspecifications
- Clean under and around plantmachinery
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to obtain Fork/Trucklicense
- Forklift experience isrequired
- Follow GMP’s and safetyprotocols
- Great trouble-shooting skills
- Computer literate
- Team effort and communication
- Willing and able to stand for long periods oftime
- Able to bend, Stoop, and Reach
- Attention to detail and desire to clean is amust
- Mechanically inclined
- Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2pm - 10:30pm
