Description

The Ammunition Technician, reporting to the Production Supervisor, is responsible for maintaining, modifying, and destroying ammunition. This hands-on position requires precision, attention to detail and a commitment to safety in all aspects of ammunition handling.

Essential duties and responsibilities include:

• Loading, and reloading ammunition, as required.
• Preparing and maintaining documents regarding the ammunition manufacturing process.
• Supporting the development and implementation of plans for safely storing ammunition.
• Training employees and providing technical guidance regarding safe usage of ammunition.

Position Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Relevant industry experience preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Holds and can maintain a valid driver's license.
• Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.

Qualifications Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Strong knowledge and demonstrated experience of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, in an environment involving several variables in standardized situations.
• High level of attention to detail.
