ATF Compliance Specialist
The ATF Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the company's operations adhere to federal firearms regulations. This role involves a wide range of tasks within the Compliance and Legal Group, requiring meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and review compliance documentation with precision, ensuring accuracy in all submissions and records.
- Process and maintain ATF forms, NFA reservations and electronical manufacturing reports, ensuring compliance with federal regulations.
- Assist with ATF traces, NFA cycle counts, serial number corrects and account discrepancies.
- Support inventory tasks, including put-away, cycle counting, and shipments. Assist Sales and Shipping teams with order holds and processing.
- Work with internal inventory systems, update customer Federal Firearm Licenses (FFLs) in MS Great Plains, and process daily transactions.
- Occasional U.S. travel may be required for training and development.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preferred.
- 1-3 years in a similar role, with experience in inventory systems being highly desirable.
Qualifications Requirements
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret regulations and develop solutions.
- Highly proficient in MS Office Suite; experience with MS Great Plains is a plus.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Maintain valid driver’s license.
- Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.
