Inventory Manager
The Inventory Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of inventory, shipping, receiving, and packing. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficient flow of materials and products within a highly regulated, government-contracted environment. The Inventory Manager ensures accuracy, compliance, and timeliness, supporting production goals and adhering to strict government and defense industry regulations.

Inventory Management
- Oversee and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all materials are properly accounted for and meet government compliance requirements.
- Develop and implement inventory control processes to minimize waste, optimize stock levels, and support production needs.
- Create and manage cycle count program to continually improve inventory accuracy year over year.
- Lead annual inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and government contracts.
- Lead quarterly ATF audits and work closely with ATF Compliance Manager to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and report inventory metrics, addressing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Serve as the point of contact for cross-departmental planning and communication, promoting transparency and teamwork.
- Proactively identify and address any potential supply chain risks, developing contingency plans to support operational resilience.
Qualifications Requirements
Candidate must possess leadership abilities to manage, train, and mentor a team of inventory, shipping, receiving, and packing personnel, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
Responsibilites include:
- Coordinate with logistics providers, vendors, and internal departments to streamline shipping and receiving operations.
- Supervise packing processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and protection of products in transit.
- Develop packing guidelines and procedures that meet contract requirements and ensure product safety and quality.
- Ensure all inventory, shipping, receiving, and packing activities are conducted in compliance with federal regulations, including ITAR, FAR, and DFARS.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory, shipping, receiving and packing to drive improvements and optimize performance.
